“Scanreco has also announced it supplied the remote control used to operate a huge pile gripper frame that’s being used for the construction of the Veja Mate offshore wind farm in the North Sea. The 1,400 tonne capacity pile gripper frame is being used onboard the Seajacks Scylla wind turbine installation vessel to place 67 XXL-size monopiles.
