Bespoke Link Plates to connect Parallel slings
Rambiz needed link plates to connect parallel slings under various angles with shackles of 400/500 and 600 T SWL. Required was a light, simple and safe way to connect parallel slings in a complex sling arrangement.
Bespoke equipment
Eager.one designed link plates to attach the rigging from the main spreader of Rambiz to that of the payload. The plates always work in pairs, linked by pairing shackles and sling or grommet. They are designed for loads with lifting points that are too close together for the standard main spreader of Rambiz.
The offered solution was a high strength link plate without any welding. Shackle line up was done by a bolted-on frame to avoid welding on the high tensile main plate.
The design, strength verification, manufacturing, load test and user instruction were all-in one hand at Eager.one. This resulted in a flawless delivery.
The Link Plates are designed for loads with lifting points that are too close together for the spreader.
