Lightweight Construction for 45 meter leader
Our client Van ’t Hek purchased a new Sennebogen 6100EHD machine which required an upgrade to a 100 ton piling rig with a leader of maximum of 45 meter. Eager.one was contacted to design the new leader.
new lattice structure
As 45 m is relatively long for this type of machine, the design of the leader had to be light but very strong. To be able to achieve the challenging construction requirements of the leader, a new type of lattice structure was designed. Next to that a lightweight leader head was constructed with a reinforced boom.
Capacity charts and test protocols
After finalizing the design by Eager.one, the new leader has been constructed by Van ‘t Hek. Eager.one completed the project with the delivery of the capacity charts and test protocols. The tests according to these protocols have already been concluded successfully. The new machine is now in full operation on a project in Amsterdam.
