Substation Topside Lifting Frame
In 2019 Eager.one was requested to supply a new Substation Topside Lifting Frame for a new wind farm. Instead of constructing this new lifting frame, we have proposed a sustainable rental option.
Capacity Upgrade
This rental option was possible because the substation topside lifting frame request was very similar to an existing cross spreader lifting frame already designed and supplied by Eager.one. To make the existing cross spreader lifting frame suitable for this project, a higher capacity upgrade was necessary.
Successful topside installation
This upgrade resulted in a cross spreader of 13 by 15 meter at SWL up to 1,635 ton. After overload testing, the adjusted cross spreader was ready for the installation of the substation topsides. The excellent project management collaboration between client and Eager.one made the installation of all topsides at the offshore wind farm to a success.
