TP Lifting tools with compact modular design
Eager.one has successfully completed the design and construction of 2 new Transition Piece lifting tools for the Jumbo Javelin. This is one of the Offshore Construction Vessels Jumbo deploys for its Offshore Wind projects. The TP tools have a lifting capacity up to 750 t. They will be used for lifting transition pieces from a floating vessel.
Compact modular design
The TP lifting tools have a compact modular design, with trunnions for the attachment of upper slings to a passive heave compensator (PHC). They are also equipped with pin pushers for the attachment and release of lower slings.
Remote controlled HPU
The pin pushers are powered by a standalone, battery charged, hydraulic power unit (HPU). This unit can be operated with a remote control unit. The position of the pins actuated by the pin pushers is monitored by sensors. These sensors activate LED lights on the remote unit as well as on the tool when the pins reach the right position.

Both tools have been deployed at the construction of the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm, one of the first large offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
