1000 t Tailing Frame

A 1000t Tailing Frame was used for the tipping and tailing of two 1300t absorbers at a petrochemical site in the Middle East. Our client has chosen to use the frame on their self-propelled platform trailers. This to avoid a huge tailing crane with a big tailing track. Eager.one was assigned to design a SWL 1000t Tailing Frame. With this frame columns and other structures of various lengths and diameters can be tipped and tailed, up to a weight of 2000t.

Design & Construct of the Tailing Frame

The frame was designed by Eager.one and fabricated in the Netherlands, before it was shipped to the Middle East. Prior to the first use, our engineers have provided on-site training to the personnel of our client. Furthermore, procedures and calculating programs have been developed. And finally, our engineers were on-site for support during the first tailing operation of the two 1300t absorbers.
