Master Class Heavy Lift & Special Transport
Various companies in the industry requested Eager.one to present a masterclass Heavy Lift & Transport, as an introduction, covering the most important subjects and engineering basics.
Goal of these companies was to bridge the gap in general knowledge on heavy lift & transport issues and to create a uniform base level in these important subjects.
More than 300 engineers, operators, supervisors and service staff were introduced in the world of heavy lift & special transport. Various engineering basics on lifting and transport, cranes and platform trailers, subjects on safety and mechanics, lessons learned from accidents and an introduction in the use of mobile cranes on a pontoon were presented during a two-day master class.
The Eager.one consultant, working for Eager.academy, shares know-how and experience gained through 35 plus years in the heavy lift & special transport business. It gives a general introduction in the specific equipment and operations used in this business. Some general engineering basics are presented, just to make sure you’ll understand the risks involved. And many references and examples are shown to support the theoretical story.
